{REVIEW} Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate QA86
About a month or two ago Born Pretty Store contacted me and asked if I'd review a few products for them. And my reply? HECK YES!!! I love Born Pretty Store. They have affordable, high quality nail art tools, polishes, studs, nail decals... everything! And, yes, even nail stamping plates! And today, I have a review for nail stamping plate QA86.

The Justice League!
Took a little break from my usual red, white and blue kick I hit this time a year. Surprising, right? Well, I completely blame my sister. She's been playing Holy B@Man Musical non-stop for few weeks and she's got me hooked too. Thanks Rachel. So, to commemorate the musical, I thought I'd pain a few characters on my nails. Of course, they're also part of the Justice League. You know. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman?

#Disneyside Event!!!!
I know, I know. I'm finally showing my face around here after nearly a month long unannounced hiatus. I have no real reason for my time off other than I just got lazy. Somehow that's possible, lol. But I'm back with a story and some nails to match!
Let me set the scene. WAAYYY back in February Disney announced an event taking place at the Disney parks where both Disneyland and Walt Disney World would be open for 24 hours. "Rock Your Disney Side Party" took place on May 23 from 6am to 6am on the 24th and for once they actually encouraged you to show up in costume! I was all over it and knew immediately I wanted to go. And after a surprisingly short time I came up with an idea for my sister and I.
Yes. We pulled out characters no one under the age of 20 would know. And It was awesome! Chip and Dale from The Rescue Rangers. I was Dale (on the right) and my sister Rachel was Chip (on the left). Not many people recognized us (not much of a surprise to us) but the people who did knowwho we were got a big kick out of our costumes. People even wanted to take pictures with us!
We were at Disneyland from around 1pm to close to 10pm. By the time 9pm rolled around the park got really crowded. Really, REALLY crowded. So we bailed. But it was so much fun. If you ever get a chance to go to an event at any of the Disney parks I highly suggest you go. And wear some Mickey Ears!
Okay, okay. Onto the nails...

Dorothy Gale, from Kansas...
If you've been following me for a while, you might have realized by now that I am a nostalgic person. I love looking back and reminiscing about the 'good old days'. But doesn't everyone? And this is why there is a huge fad going around, and has been for a while, called Throwback Thursday (#TBT). I'm a little late on the bandwagon, but I was looking through old family photos looking for some stuff to share and I found this:
Now, I'm not one to brag, but wasn't I adorable? I'm a little over 5 years old here. I remember living in this Halloween costume. This was 1992, when you couldn't just go out and buy costumes. This was hand-made by my mom, who herself is a huge Judy Garland fan. She made everything from the dress down to the ruby slippers. We still have it tucked away in the garage somewhere...
Where am I going with this, you may ask? When I saw this pictures I knew I had to do a Dorothy Gale inspired nail design!

Easter Water Marble...
Hello, nail painters! How have you all been? How was your Easter weekend? Mine was pretty good. Got to spend some time with the family, both at work and at home, and ate wayyy too much candy. Bu that's what we do on holidays where we literally search the ground for hidden plastic eggs with sugary candy inside. And I have to admit that I love it so much!
Today, I'm gonna share the design I wore on Easter, to my families get-together. ;)

I know it's been a little while since I updated. I'm sorry for that. Work's picked up since it's Spring Break, people are taking time off, and its just been a generally busy week. But What with tomorrow being EASTER I thought I'd jump on here and share a design with you!
